Careers

Come build the hard part.

We work on problems where the answer is not on the internet yet — silicon that has to close timing, AI systems that have to hold up in production, platforms that have to stay up. If that is the work you want, we should talk.

Open roles

Roles are posted here the moment they open. If nothing fits today, send an open application — we keep strong profiles on file.

Life at GIC

How we actually work.

Four things we hold to. They shape the interview as much as the job.

Depth over breadth

We would rather you know one layer of the stack properly than five superficially. Specialists are respected here, not pushed into management to progress.

Engineers talk to the problem

No account manager relaying requirements. You sit with the actual constraint, and you are trusted to push back on it.

Training is the job

Semiconductor and AI skills are built, not hired. Time to learn is scheduled work, not something you fit around delivery.

Honest process

Clear stages, real feedback, and a decision either way. Silence after an interview is a failure on our side, not a message.

Two tracks, both technical.

First 6 months mentored

Specialists are promoted as specialists here. Management is a separate track you can choose — never a rung you have to climb through to keep progressing.

Silicon

RTL design · Verification · DFT · Physical design

  1. Graduate
  2. Engineer
  3. Senior
  4. Staff
  5. Principal

Principal engineers own block architecture and sign off on tape-out readiness.

Systems

AI & data · Cloud & platform · Security · Software

  1. Graduate
  2. Engineer
  3. Senior
  4. Staff
  5. Principal

Principal engineers set architecture across client estates and carry the hardest incidents.

How we hire

Four stages, no surprises.

Typically two to three weeks end to end. You will always know what the next step is and when to expect it.

  1. 01

    Application

You apply here. Your CV goes straight into our hiring pipeline and is read by a person — usually within a few days.

  2. 02

    Intro call

Thirty minutes with someone from the team on what you have built, what you want next, and what the role actually involves.

  3. 03

    Technical deep dive

A conversation about real work — your design decisions and trade-offs. No trick puzzles, no whiteboard algorithm theatre.

  4. 04

    Offer

A decision and clear feedback either way. We tell you where you stand rather than leaving you to guess.

Nothing fitting?

Send us your CV anyway.

We would rather know you now than miss you when the role opens. Tell us what you want to work on.
